When you get right down to it, airports are really nothing more than a lot a pavement organized in a very specific way. Without that pavement the flight training, fuel, maintenance, avionics, charter, and airline services wouldn't exist. Operators don't think about pavement much until they have to. When runways, taxiways, and ramps start showing their age is when operators take notice.
That has been the case at EWB and Sandpiper Air... until now. Thanks to months of planning and a lot of hard work by many people, Sandpiper Air has a brand new ramp. In fact, the entire ramp along Taxiway B has been completely replaced. At Sandpiper Air we are thrilled to once again have a smooth, stable area for our customers use.
If you are in the area, stop in to check out our new pavement!
